I've been on an older games kick so I started playing through the one version of RE2 that I've never finished. I picked this up at a fanatastic little used games shop in Boise almost four years ago and I just never got around to trying it. I'm really impressed at how high-resolution the game looks in comparison with the Playstation original, and also how in exacly how they managed to cram in a 2 CD game onto a 512 megabit cartridge while still including new stuff. To commemorate it, I decided to toggle on absolute movement and blue blood just so it's clear I'm not playing the original version. How totally weird/awesome.

Woah, Capcom was really hellbent on releasing this game for every system imaginable. I used to have the PC version, but it didn't run very well on my computer at the time, so I *regrettably* returned it to CompUSA and got Quest for Glory V instead.
@Tigershard I'd be interested if it actually worked to its fullest extent today, though. It was one of those games where you had to pick which graphics card you had in order to get 3D acceleration and if you didn't pick the right one, the graphics never quite looked right. I remember I had a Matrox G200 at the time which made it look pretty darn cool, though. Oh, and it's the only version of Resident Evil 2 that lets you skip the door-opening sequences -- at my height, I actually managed to finish the game in 56 minutes because of that!
